Director of Schools
Emily Pretorius and Megan Hostetter
The USF Engineering Expo School Board invites over 10,000 students of all ages, from schools all over Florida! Our board has the pleasure to communicate directly with educators and deliver the information needed to plan, arrive, and experience Expo smoothly. We orchestrate a unique school’s activity that inspires and cultivates a strong interest in STEM for the students. We also encourage a scavenger hunt that allows the students to roam USF’s Engineering area exposing them to our clubs, organizations, and exhibitors. We strive to show our visitors the real life application of how interdisciplinary and diverse engineering is.
Director of Exhibitors

Our goal is to ensure that we can provide all the support necessary for exhibitors to create a lasting impression on our young visitors. We network with USF student organizations as well as STEM related organizations outside of USF and encourage them to participate in this event. Moreover, we also ensure that each project and/or exhibit follows the standard set as required by the Expo Board.

These activities are also geared towards earning the Inventor Badge or the Product Designer Badge along with a fun patch designed by Engineering Expo.
